Dr. Cleveland is board certified in Allergy & Immunology by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology. He is also board certified in Internal Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
He is on the active medical staff of Sacred Heart and Baptist Hospitals and on the courtesy staff of West Florida Hospital.

Medical Background
Dr. Cleveland attended the University of Virginia and Tulane University and has a Bachelors of Arts degree from Tulane in English. He attended Tulane Medical School and graduated in 1975. He did a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Louisville and the University of South Alabama. He practiced internal medicine from 1979 to 1990 then he went back to an allergy fellowship at East Carolina University.
He has been in private practice since that time. He has been active with the American Lung Association and has served on the board of the Northwest Florida region and as president from 1996-1998. He has been chairman of the Department of Medicine at Sacred Heart Hospital and has served on the executive committee of the hospital. He is a member of the Florida Allergy,Asthma and Immunology Society, the Alabama Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American Thoracic Society, the American Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, and the Escambia County Medical Society.
